2019 Cadillac Escala. Compared to the radicals Ciel and Eliraj Dramatic, Cadillac Escala looks more traditional – although it is still handsome. One unconventional aspect is that the big four door is actually a hatchback rather than a sedan. Perhaps the success of the Audi A7 / S7 has encouraged Cadillac to brave the nagging “hatchback” tag, or even though the production version will return to a traditional trunk, as the height of life is uncomfortably high. In the touring car, the rear door opening does not extend towards the bumper, so the load floor rises to make loading and unloading easier.
Cadillac currently has a few sedans on sale but can not be sold as a luxury sedan. Even the CT6, its luxury sedan, can barely compete with a mid-range Mercedes, so things have to change. Back in late 2016, the Cadillac Escala concept was released, a large luxury sedan designed to showcase the next Cadillac design scheme. Although the car has only been shown twice, Cadillac seems to have some plans for it. For starters, the Cadillac Escala is actually more likely to enter production. Some suggested that it might get CT8 but nothing has been confirmed so far. However, we know with certainty that it will be more dignified than the CT6 continuous which is its science at this stage.
Just like the CT6, the concept of 2019 Cadillac Escala is based on the Cadillac Omega platform, the aluminum rear wheel and one of the high-strength steel structures. This allows them to maintain their weight while providing a very strong structure. The end result is usually one of the lighter cars of its size which is also the case with the CT6. Not much has been disclosed about Cadillac Escala in terms of specifications. However, Cadillac told us the overall dimensions of the car. It seems to have a longer wheelbase 4.7 inches; it is the longest 6.5 inches in general, and the track reaches 2.5 to 2.7 inches wider.
Although the car is bigger than that, the car is less than that, and has a dash to the longer axis than the CT6. The latter means that the concept Cadillac Escala is essentially characterized by a much longer cover than its brothers in production. This translates into a car that looks less and wider while appealing to a real luxury car. The roof has a sub-arch, similar to a coupe, while the hood of the car is short, giving the Cadillac Escala a four-door coupe. Although it may still be early, we would not be surprised if Cadillac decided to release a version of the sports car with the same design as the Cadillac Escala.
The concept is 5 seats which is very unfamiliar to the concept. The front seats are similar in design to those on the Cadillac V-Sport models while the rear seat offers two separate outdoor seats. This concept features white leather furniture with gray fabric that makes it perfect. The steering wheel is similar to that of previous Cadillac cars, as well as the dashboard. Instead of the usual set of meters, the 2019 Cadillac Escala Concept already features a set of LCD panels that give the driver all the information he needs. Although it may still be far from production, this concept seems definitely ready for him.
The 2019 Cadillac Escala is the first GM car to use a 4.2-liter V8 with a turbocharger. These rumors have been circulating for quite a while and it is quite refreshing to see them in the wild. The engine is actually loose on GM V6 engines. This new V8 is good for 500 horsepower at 2019 Cadillac Escala which is very good-looking at a low offset. Although the production version is still missing, we are confident that it will be able to produce more than 500 HP only. The car is likely to use the GM’s 10-speed automatic drive in the rear wheels. The production model can have an optional 4WD system, especially since most of its future competitors already offer one. A less powerful engine is also possible given that this V8 engine would push the car price higher than it should even be successful.
It may be only when Cadillac appears to be its flagship sedan in a form ready for near-production, a market for these cars will be too powerless to launch. In this case, Caddy’s future science will be the same as his current science: 2019 Cadillac Escala-de. The design language that was previewed here will appear in production models starting from the time frame in late 2019.
