2019 Ford Shelby GT500. This will be a direct successor to the previous GT500 which was a bit more powerful and faster than the previous ZL1.Ford recently showed the new model of the 2019 Ford Shelby GT500 sports car at the Detroit International Motor Show for both General and Ford employees.
The rivalry between Ford and Chevrolet in terms of muscle cars is the highest ever and this has shown us all with two of the best muscle cars yet, the Camaro ZL1, and the Ford GT350. However, they are completely different from each other. The Camaro is more of a luxury high-performance cruiser while Ford is more of a ready-made trackball. In order to get things at the same level, a new car is expected to be released by the end of the year with the Mustang Ford Mustang Shelby GT500.
This significant increase in the price of the 2019 Ford Shelby GT500 is there because the car will also contain much better components. Instead of the live rear axle, the new 2019 Ford Shelby GT500 will get a completely independent suspension. Carbon carbon brake pads are expected to be installed in the base model while large 19-inch light alloy brats should be provided in quasi-quasi-legal high performance. All these are very expensive, and if we add carbon fiber wheels, the components are reinforced and the engine is new, the total gets a lot higher than the Mustang base.
All of these must make the GT500 faster and much more controllable before. To do well with all those promotions, both exterior and interior of the car will get a little attention. The outer surface must receive the lower front end of the GT350 with a larger separator while the rear has a larger dispenser and perhaps four exhausts are installed. The car will certainly be prepared for high-speed driving. The cabin itself should get, as standard, recaro seats, suede upholstery and even raw carbon fiber.
There will be two versions, regular road copy (GT500) and track version (GT500R). Both versions will be equipped with a 5.2-liter V8 power plant that produces 533 bb and 427 lb / ft, with peak torque of only 3000 rpm. In the first Ford and Shelby, the red line will scream approximately 8,250 rpm. As you would expect for a serious sports car, there is no automatic transmission option, the gearbox will be a 6-speed TRIMIC TR-3160. The GT500R will be put on a serious diet. No climate or media system, no pruning in the trunk, no exhaust aeration and probably no seats.
Further weight reduction will come from replacement of metal body panels with carbon fiber suspension and Dave also get upgraded. The first GT500 model was launched in 1965, the same as the original Mustang year. The first models are equipped with a 4.7-liter V8, 306 bp output. The Shelby versions were really just a design exercise, although the standard version later got a bit more decorative. Different colors and decals are 2019 Ford Shelby GT500 for example. The new generation is thought to maintain most of this design cues, apart from the g decals on the thresholds.
The new 2019 Ford Shelby GT500 sales are expected to start in summer or fall next year. Applications for the new Shelby generation will begin in January 2019 and should be available in both coupe and convertible models. Official prices have not yet been released, but it is believed to be a minimum of $50,000 in the US market and no overseas market has been announced. The current generation European version of ‘Stang’ is available for €35,000 with the Acoust 310 Bb engine.
