2019 Corvette. A completely new front end is designed to guide the air to the propulsion system and the cooling system, with four new radiators reaching a total of 13 heat exchangers. The special cover of the “Halo” carbon fiber is opened at the center to cancel the LT5 engine / motor radiator. Many other features, including the external beams with the stent-mounted wings, help push the ZR1 more hard on the track and make it more stable in handling and faster in return. The maximum speed of ZR1 is more than 210 mph.
“As a high-performance Corvette at all times, the ZR1 design supports its capability in all aspects,” said Kirk Pennion, Director of Exterior Design. “The new wings, for example, help generate more down-force without the need for clouds, road improvement and maximum speed.”
The ZR1 offers a two-pack Aero: the standard low back wing, delivering the highest top speed and helps generate up to more than 70 percent of the air base strength of the Z06 package, and adjustable two-way high-wing available for it provides maximum downward force on the track for faster times In lap, nearly 60% of Z07 power with Z07 performance package available. It also offers in all models an under-wing interface that improves aerodynamic power, a Chevrolet first.
The package includes an adjustable ZTK Performance Wing high and splintered on the front with carbon fiber wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport 2 summer caps only, a specific structure and a magnetic drive control adjustment for gripping the corners.
Like the Corvette Racing C7R, the two ZR1 wings are attached to the chassis to ensure strength and stability.
The Corvette ZR1 was introduced in the new dynamic color and the Sebring Orange design package is available. Focused on its outer color Orange Sabering, the package also includes orange caliper brakes, orange hammocks and decorative strips, orange safety belts, orange inseams and aluminum interior unique bronze trim.
The new design package complements the Corvette ZR1’s blend of refinement and design with maximum performance. The well-equipped cabin focuses on the driver and includes standard leather seats with microfiber inserts of suede. Leather seats are also available with heating, ventilating and NABA rim steering wheel seats, carbon fiber sports racing, performance data recorder, BOSS premium sound system and more.
The Corvette is ready to meet the best in the world and is scheduled to be available in the spring of 2018.
The Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 was introduced in 2019, a high quality car that leads the history of Corvette performance to the highest performance and the most advanced and sophisticated technology in the history of Corvette production.
“I have never run Corvette this way before, nor did anyone else, because they did not exist before,” said Mark Royce, executive vice president of global product development and procurement and supply chain. “Its unprecedented performance puts all other important global vehicles in the knowledge that ZR1 is back.”
The high-speed LT5 engine of the Corvette ZR1, with 755 horsepower (563 kW) and 715 lb-ft of torque (969 Nm), has set a new benchmark for performance. In addition, the ZR1 increases the Corvette’s potential through two sets of aerodynamics, including a high-powered wing that provides a 950-pound thrust.
The LT5 6.2L V-8 engine in the ZR1 improves the legacy of the Corvette supercar, which began with the sixth generation of the ZR1 in 2009 and continued with the seventh generation of the seventh generation Z06. The LT5 offers the highest ever production rate for the Chevrolet truck, thanks in part to a new and more efficient internal bearing system that provides a 52 percent increase on the Z46 LT4. This is the first dual fuel injection system from GM, and uses direct main injection as well as injection into the additional port, helping the LT5 achieve its standard production.
The 7-speed automatic transmission is available with the LT5. The 2019 ZR1 is the first time the ZR1 automatic transmission has been introduced.
The Professional is leading the stunning appearance of the Corvette ZR1 in 2019 and has been recognized as the largest Corvette production to date.
